It's that time of the month, AGAIN! ... hahahaha GOT YOU! Not THAT time LOL ... First Friday is HERE again! Only 3 days away and I am on sewing lock down! It's crunch time baby! Time to get all those little last things made for the event. It sure is a lot of work but I love it! I spend ALL month prepping for First Friday, filling orders, prepping for First Friday, re-stocking the Rockin Bettie store, prepping for First Friday, re-stocking Love Bug Baby store ... wait, did I mention prepping for First Friday? hahaha ok, ok I know that was corny but I couldn't help it!

I've also been busy busy with new projects! I have teamed up with Jeniffer LaRocca Photography to offer my Rockin fans a great photo shoot for a great price, and in turn they model some of my gear & get a little return for themselves ... it's a win/win/win! Who could ask for a better deal!?! Check out some of the images we have so far. Our first model is Parker, and she is SO adorable! Cute, right? She came to visit me at First Friday wearing her little dress. It made my day!! Love seeing and meeting my fans in person. It's amazing!

... well I'd better get off to bed. Gotta do more sewing in the morning before 4th of July celebrations start :-)

Little Miss Sunshine Booties

This fabric is soo cute but I only had a little piece so I made these booties mostly out of black fabric, but the yellow is such a contrast that it stands out really well. I added little bows to the toes of these booties because I was experimenting with ribbon & I really like how they turned out.

I had just enough of this fabric to make a little dress too so keep your eyes open for thet I will be posting it soon :-)

Baby Dresses & Booties

So I've had this fabric laying around for quite some time & all of it consists of pieces too small to make anything useful. But this weekend I got a creative spark & had the advantage because these fabrics are non directional. So I had a pattern for straight A-Line dresses but it was too big for the peices of fabrics I had. So I changed the pattern myself & pieced it together to make a cute waistline with a slight gather which created a babydoll style. I even had enough to make matching booties.

My adorable niece Audrina is very photogenic (because she's gorgeous!!) & I knew they would look awesome on her (as everything does haha) so she was my little super model today & she just soaked up all the attention.
