Custom Orders

So here is one of two custom bags my friend Debbie has asked me to create. We had fun browsing through fabrics online and going to the fabric store to get the rest of the fabric for her lining etc... Great Bag, I'm sure her niece Lacie will love it!

I'm working on the second bag & will post pics as soon as it's done.

You don't have to have a baby to order one of my bags :-)

Here's feedback from a recent sale of one of my bags:

9/10/09 I love this! I actually got it for myself it holds my netbook perfectly and the wide straps make the heavy netbook not so hard to carry in the purse. Large pockets for all my pens, notepads, wallet, sunglasses, phone and keys. PERFECT! no one would ever guess it was a diaper bag. :) Thanks for a superior handmade product!

Thanks for looking, night all!

Simply Modern Damask Bag

This Bag is GINORMOUS!!! It's HUGE haha!

So I have gotten a lot of requests for a larger bag, well here it is...

well... actually it will be listed in the morning (9/10).

I figured in honor of my 1 year Etsyversary I would try a new pattern for a diaper bag. So, I bought the Amy Butler Birdie Sling Pattern. This bag is my 1st creation.

I love the Damask fabric, and its becoming more and more popular so I decided to take a crack at it :-) I paired it with stripes for a good bold POP! The two together are Classic & Gothic at the same time, and honestly it kinda reminds me of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" movie (one of my faves!)

And again this bag is very large. Just to give you an idea of how large it is: It takes roughly 5 yards of fabric, interfacing & fusible fleece to make it. And for my 1st time making it about 7 hours! whew!!! The pattern is easy to follow I'm just very thorough & tend to read a direction over & over to make sure I got it right. There is nothing I hate more than ripping seams & starting over haha!

I changed one of the pockets that come with the pattern by making it larger and adding elastic along the top (like in all my other bags) with 4 separations which are great for Baby Bottles, Glasses case, water bottles or anything else you want to organize into your bag.

Anyways before I bore you with all my sewing talk (which puts my hubby to sleep haha) check it out on my site I will list it first thing in the morning :-)

"Love Tattoo" Diaper Bag/ Large Purse/ Tote

I've had this fabric for awhile just sitting in my closet begging to become something haha! I finally got the urge, and some time, to just sit & sew (These bags take about 2.5 hours to make...whew!)

Anyways, I love this Tattoo Fabric. It's slightly different from the very popular Alexander Henry Tattoo Fabric. If you're anything like me you like to have something awesome that not everyone on your block has. I love to be different & this bag is just that.

It was fun to make & I just keep looking at it :-)
