So my son needed a pencil pouch for his school binder. Can you believe all Wal-Mart & Target had was dinky plastic ones! So I remembered I had some awesome scraps of fabric from pillows I made and I just happened to have a spare zipper. I didn't have any metal grommets so I just did simple button holes on top of a french seam so it would go in his binder. It turned out to be perfect! It's bigger than we could have bought & it will last a lot longer than those dinky plastic ones! He loves it! He said all the kids in his class will want one too!
What an awesome invention! The pouch sling has got to be the easiest baby carrier to use! It holds newborn to toddlers up to 35 pounds! It evenly distributes baby's weight so it's easier on Mom's back. You can nurse privately & in comfort since baby's weight is supported. You can throw it in the washing machine. It's small enough to fold up & fit into a diaper bag. There are no clips or straps to hassle with & can be worn in 5 different positions. It lets baby snuggle close while letting mom have full use of her hands ... and the list could go on & on!
Check this awesome sling out on my website & I have other Cherry Fabric Baby Items to match!
Contact me if you want a pouch sling in a different fabric & I would be happy to help you design your own!

IF YOU ARE A ROCKIN MAMA WITH INK YOU HAVE GOT TO HAVE THIS BAG!!!
This Alexander Henry Tattoo fabric has a beige back ground with traditional tattoo style skulls, mermaids, nautical stars, snakes, dice, etc...The inner lining is a "atom" red polka dot fabric.
This diaper bag has three large elastic pockets for all baby's necessities and a deep 8in wide zipper pocket for mom's stuff. The bottom of the bag and one side of the handles are dark denim fabric for added durability.
The bag closes with a magnetic clasp on the top for easy one handed release. One handed release is especially nice when have forgotten to open your diaper bag before you started undressing and changing baby and your trying to keep baby from rolling. I know this from experience! haha
Diaper Bag Measurements: H: 12in L: 16in W: 7in
The strap is 13in from the top of the bag to the curve of the handle.
I first started my Etsy shop just as a hobby, and it has quickly developed into my second business. What can I say? I LOVE TO SEW! My grandmother taught me from when I was 6 years old, and I have been sewing ever since. I pour my heart and soul into each item I make, it's my creative outlet, an escape from everyday stress.
My name is Celestial and I am a Punk Rockin, tattooed mother of three. As
a mother myself I was always on the hunt for that unique baby item, especially diaper bags. After all, it becomes your daily accessory for at least a year. Not everyone wants to carry something with a cartoon character on it, or a huge teddy bear. YUCK! Let's just say I know and understand the need for a sense of style in the baby gear we use. That is what inspired me to start designing my own line of Rockin baby gear. I look at a piece of fabric and instantly imagine hundreds of awesome baby items I could make out of it. The possibilities are endless. My obsession with fabric is a little embarrassing, and my hubby agrees hahaha. Especially fabric with polka dots, and you'll find a lot of them in my creations. I just can't help myself!
